The Gospel of John: My Heart Christ's Home

Welcome to the Unity Baptist Church sermon podcast!

If you had the opportunity, what would you tell your family and friends in your last moments on earth? Would you reminisce all the good times? Would you share fun stories you’ve had over the years with them? What words of wisdom would you lay in their laps? As we have been making our way through the sermon series, “The Gospel of John,” we have come to what is known as the Upper Room Discourse. It is during this time, Jesus is with the twelve disciples giving them encouragement, instruction, assurance, and promise. He knew He was about to go to the cross of crucifixion. He knew the time was near when He would die and bear all the sins of humanity. In this moment, Jesus didn’t waste His opportunity to edify those around Him. Why would Jesus do this? His passion and desire for His disciples to know Him personally, trust Him with their life, and follow His Father’s will was so great, He didn’t want them to miss it.
