Proof of "The Matrix?"

Yes - we do live in a "real world Matrix." From the late 1800's scientists were onto something. They were trying to prove the existence of the "Ether Field," the energy field that binds all things together and can allow us to transcend reality here on Earth.

In 1987, this reality was proven true by more modern testing. 

Perhaps this was the impetus for the movie "The Matrix about 10 years later that debuted in 1999.
