If you've ever been stuck in a cycle and can't get yourself to move forward because you're scared or the anxiety is too much...this one's for you! I've been stuck in cycles of insecurities or fear and cannot get myself to progress, like many of us, but I received some guidance years ago, intuitively, to use "what if" to try things. Don't want to workout? Okay, "what if" we just walked for 10 minutes? Scared of asking for that raise? Got it! "What if," we ask, and they say no? In that case, come up with a plan of action using all the crazy "no" scenarios that might come up and how you'd handle them. This helps you process your fears, tears, and develop a plan of action before asking. "What if" is a powerful tool... come listen and see the possibilities.
