Are the Majestic 12 Documents Real?

In 1984, a UFO researcher received in the mail an envelope containing a roll of undeveloped black-and-white film that contained photographs of purported top-secret documents that, if true, confirmed a UFO crashed in Roswell in 1947 and that a secret government group called Operation Majestic 12 was established to study the implications of our extraterrestrial visitors. Are those documents real?
