Philippians 3:12-16 - Keep On Pressing On

Paul urges those in Christ to press on towards the prize. Being motivated by the gospel, Christians are to put off complacency and are to put on a fiery pursuit of the things of Christ.

• Press on because you belong to Jesus Christ (v12)
  • Belonging to Christ creates a holy discontentment in life
  • Belonging to Christ dramatically changes your pursuits in life
• Press on with a singular focus (v13-14)
  • Keep your sights on Christ
  • Keep your sights forward, forgetting what lies behind
• Press on with mature thinking (v15-16)
  • It is mature thinking to humbly know you must mature
  • It is mature thinking to hold true to gospel living
