Our guest today ..... has 38 years of experience as an award-winning executive producer of feature films, digital media products and games; a social impact philanthropist/social impact producer; a venture catalyst/investor, global business and economic development executive; a philanthropic social impact activist; and as an investor and/or board member/advisor to over 50 startup, early stage, institutional, multi-national and government entities.

David's current NGO activities include development and producing social impact concerts / activation events. His current campaigns include the Fall/UNGA 2020 UN75 GLOBAL GOVERNANCE FORUM's MENTAL WELLNESS ROUNDTABLE, the GLOBAL MENTAL WELLNESS FOUNDATION that produced the Mental Wellness Roundtable. During UNGA 2019 he produced The CELEBRATION OF PEACE event. David’s Advisory Boards include: GloCha.org, GCHFoundation.org and UNGSII. GCH is currently streaming SDG-aligned wellness an est. 2m+ kids/day across 73 countries.

David has facilitated more than 50 startups (or bigger) across the years, with current activities in the hemp, blockchain, cybersecurity, mental health and media spaces. Founding/IP creation activities include an AI-aligned psychological evaluation tool ("19-Questions").

David was Exec or Co-Producer on a number of movies including: jOBS (Ashton Kutcher), BRONX BULL, AMERICAN KING, CRAZY FOR THE BOYS, AHIMSA-GANDHI, etc., and is currently involved in developing SWEETWATER, RISE, George Benson's GIVE ME THE NIGHT, THE CIRCLE, LEAF OF FATE and MANDALA. His first feature film credit was for primary VR consultant/producing display graphics on THE LAWNMOWER MAN (1993).

David is author of nearly 50 articles, has given nearly 100 speeches globally, earned Ed.M in Education from Harvard ('90) with focus on optimizing mental health education via VR with class-work at MIT Media Lab & Harvard’s Business School. In 1984 he earned undergraduate degrees in rhetoric & film with honors from the UC Berkeley.

Personal passion is use of popular media/intelligent technologies for supporting positive social economic development, entrepreneurship/disruption and mental wellness impact. He believes mental wellness is the ‘missing piece’ in modern education.
