We had some technical difficulties this week, but are forging through! We start off our conversation by discussing the looping holiday season. The nostalgia and idea of family gatherings are great, but in reality, they end up causing more stress than they should. Does everyone have this problem? Be sure to comment and let us know we’re not alone! Three people went home on Special Forces this week, but Tom Sandoval is standing strong. With the vertical challenge in this episode, we couldn’t help but compare Special Forces with America’s Next Top Model. We also give a big shout out to Nick Viall for giving us all the inside scoop on his podcast, The Viall Files. We’re a little embarrassed to admit how much we’re enjoying this show, and discuss how we think we’d fare in the challenges so far. Surprisingly, we haven’t talked about the hottest new couple of the fall, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce! Ailish shares her Kelce brothers connection, and Hannah remembers her Amazon Prime hookup so we can watch their documentary.
We also dive into Part 1 of the RHOC reunion. This episode brought a lot of the same: Tamra and Shannon not taking accountability for their behavior, Heather being blamed for everything, and Jenn having to defend her relationship with Ryan. Hopefully, we get more resolution in Part 2, but we’re not holding our breath! All the talk about Life 360 and kids and social media on this episode got us thinking about what the future would be like for the younger generations. Hannah shared her thoughts on the idea of tracking her kids or allowing them to have social media when they’re older. With how fast things are changing, it’s really difficult to know how things will be 10 years from now. What will the new technology be? Don’t forget to read Hey, Hun by Emily Lynn Paulson along with us this month. We’ve been on the waitlist for this one for months and are really looking forward to unwrapping the world of Multi-Level Marketing schemes. Interact with us by answering the Q&A, and leaving reviews on the podcast in general. We love to hear your feedback! So grab your water bottles, and look out for new episodes every Wednesday!
