his video is the English version of the Lecture on Cahit Tanyol and Amiran Kurtkan-Bilgiseven who were third generation sociologists in the two departments of sociology, the first one in Faculty of Letters, the second one, in the Faculty of Economics of Istanbul University. Cahit Tanyol was born in 1914 and died in 2020, while Amiran Kurtkan-Bilgiseven was born in 1926 and died in 2005.
