I was listening to a little music last night…
* and that paired with Bianca Lea Morra’s phrase "over consumption leads to under creating"
* + my friend Elin Petronella’s phrasing of "your creative practice starts with doing something you want to do no matter what- it's infused in your day"
culminated in being smacked with a gripping feeling of "I NEED to create something that lasts- now."
It was one of those gasping for air type of feelings!?
Maybe…. creating something that lasts isn’t (just) about these major projects and points of impact but (more) about how we show up and spend each day. What we create out of the limited time we trade our 24 hours for. A step by step approach if you will…
That's going to be my focus and takeaway from this 24 hour swirl…
Asking myself: how can I make a lasting impact TODAY?
Noticing the nudges and synchronicities as a new drive/deeper connection/experience with my creative work unfolds.
I’m curious- How do you approach your days and impact on the world? What’s been swirling for you?
