Hello, Internet. Rican here, and today I want to talk about haters. They are the biggest nightmares for creators, lurking in the shadows like creepy goblins, ready to pounce on every new piece of content with their venomous comments. These haters can be relentless, like a stubborn storm cloud that refuses to clear, casting a dark shadow over even the brightest creations. Their negativity can be soul-crushing and spirit-dampening, but learning to navigate this treacherous landscape is crucial for any content creator. So let's dive in and figure out how to deal with these trolls and keep our creative spirits alive!

My first negative comment was on my TikTok video, which said, “Your eating sounds are so loud that they even woke up my dead grandma, you clueless little punk.” This comment changed every video I made afterward. Because of this comment, I rewatched all of my old videos and noticed that my eating sounds were very loud, even annoying myself. Hence, I tried to make every video more joyful and less annoying with the chewing sounds. The results satisfied me indeed. The thing is, the hater really helped me improve my creations. Even though this comment wasn’t meant to help me but to insult me for fun, that really doesn’t matter to me.

Or I could use a different attitude by saying, “You know nothing about my amazing creation; you're just a passion fruit with the legs of a mango dog.” I don’t even know what I am writing about, but if I use the correct attitude, every word from me can be treated as insulting. And then I will lose the opportunity to improve myself, which means earning nothing but creating more hateful emotions. People might come back to attack you again because you insulted them with passion fruit and mango. That’s super disrespectful in the fruit society.

Moreover, this fight-back behavior could be endless. You are facing a global community that we call the “Internet.” Perhaps, you would need to spend your whole life debating with everybody and still learn nothing but acquire more negative feelings.

On the other hand, how do you know the person judging you isn’t actually a teammate or someone who genuinely cares about you? Sometimes, even those who offer advice with an offensive tone are still providing an opinion that could be valuable, right? If the same person gave me a comment like, “I love your chewing sounds that sound just like an angel serenading a choir of celestial harps in heaven,” in my opinion, that would be a really toxic comment. Because I might feel super good about my annoying chewing sounds and perhaps wouldn’t change anything in my future videos. Instead, I might chew harder and louder because I misunderstand the majority’s feelings. Most people won’t give me any comment; they just watch and leave. So, that comment would be significant feedback to a beginner like me.

Now the comment, “Your eating sounds are so loud that they even woke up my dead grandma, you clueless little punk,” becomes a gentle but hardcore teacher and places full expectations on my future. The grateful teacher knows you will thank them later. Even if you misunderstand and hate the teacher now, that’s okay. One day when you are successful, you might forget them, but that’s okay. As your guide, the teacher requires nothing but to see you happy and fulfilled. Oh, what a good teacher.

In conclusion, the hater is actually a lover. The person who gave me a negative comment still watches my videos. Since I changed my chewing sound problems, they never gave me another comment but still observe my videos. This guy really cares about me, even though I don’t know who they are. This is today’s talk. I am Rican, and I’ll see you next time, Internet.
