In our last minisode we talked about trauma. I have shared about my calling to become a missionary; my obedience in saying yes, I will go; the unmet realistic and unrealistic expectations I experienced; and the emotional abuse I experienced through it all. Now we’re going to talk about the next part...the result...what happens when you live in an unhealthy situation for almost three years.
Today’s episode is actually going to sound a little different than our usual mini-episode format; you’re not just going to hear from me but also from Brooke. She brings a valuable perspective to this part of my story, being on the outside looking in, the one who had to watch her loved one fight through a painful season.

Celebrate Recovery - CR is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. It's a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life.
Onsite Workshops - Experiential therapy workshops both online and on-sight.
Missionary Training International - The Debriefing and Renewal (DAR) program is life-changing, and so helpful for those leaving the mission field or ministry.
The Joshua Center - A Northwest Arkansas-based center that provides affordable counseling services for people struggling with depression, anxiety, marital difficulties, sexual issues (defined by the client), parent-child issues and other individual and family concerns.
