This episode had its challenges with a missed wake-up call, phone calls being dropped and Brock being out of the studio but we pushed on and made a show! This week we covered the following:

  • We had Pat Byington with BhamNow back with us for an update on things going on around the city.
  • Trussville Mayor Buddy Choat called in to tell us about the great things going on in his neck of the woods
  • Lost communities of Lake Martin
  • Alabama ACT scores going south
  • Music executive Miles Copeland came back to give a talk at Birmingham-Southern College
  • Van Halen rocked Boutwell Auditorium today in 1978
  • Also today in 1974, McDonald's owner Ray Kroc gave his San Diego Padres a dressing down mid-game over the PA system about how bad they were
  • Go see the Sewanee 1899 Unrivaled premiere coming up at the Alys Stephens Center.

Catch us live each Saturday morning at 7am on Birmingham's Talk 99.5 FM and catch back shows on the Truitt News Radio Facebook Page, Spotify or at truittinsurance.com.
