On November 7th, 2019, police in Ames, Iowa, received a frantic 911 call from residents of an apartment building. The callers reported that a man was going door to door, urgently telling neighbors that something ‘really bad just happened in Apartment 202’ and pleading with them to call the police and an ambulance.

Officers responded immediately, their swift arrival and the unfolding situation captured on the following bodycam footage.
