The Books of the Minor Prophets are simply shorter books.
But the beauty of the Minor Prophet books is that because they are shorter,  they tend to get right to the point and "name" the issues at hand.

Join us for this insightful sermon as Wendy shares some perspectives from the story of the prophet Hosea.
From Hosea chapter 11,
"Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk,
    I took them up in my arms;
    but they did not know that I healed them.
I led them with cords of human kindness,
    with bands of love.
I was to them like those
    who lift infants to their cheeks.
    I bent down to them and fed them."

Christ has no body now on earth, but ours. God calls us to share unearned love with one another and the community around us, just as we do for our little ones. We are called to be the chords of human kindness, with bands of love.

It may not always make sense what you're going through in life, but the God who lifts infants to His Cheek is always with you, offering an increase of faith, of hope, of love that we may obtain His promises.
