The Books of the Minor Prophets are simply shorter books.
But the beauty of the Minor Prophet books is that because they are shorter,  they tend to get right to the point and "name" the issues at hand.

Micah:
Micah is a contemporary of Isaiah, the Exile of Israel hasn't happened yet, but it's coming.
The prophets can see that this Exile is on the horizon. Micah pushes the people of Israel to remember who they are and to reorder their lives in the way that God desired.
He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
    and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
    and to walk humbly with your God? What would we look like as people who "do justice"? What would we look like as people who "love kindness and mercy"? What would it look like for each of us to "walk humbly with our God"? Can you believe that God wants to walk with us in that same way, with kindness, mercy, humbleness?
