Connected - When Persecution Comes

Join us as Derrick shares what Jesus taught his disciples about persecution, and how we can prepare ourselves and our families for when hard times come.

Jesus spent an ample amount of time encouraging His disciples that they are going to be well cared for even when He leaves to return to His Father. He then turns His focus toward the cross and preparing His followers for the inevitability of persecution that they will also face. It is accurate to say that believers in Jesus Christ will suffer persecution because of their relationship with Christ. What is left to be determined is whether or not we will respond in the same way that Jesus responded when He faced trouble based on who He was and what He stood for.
