Our tailgate made its first appearance in a high school, as we celebrated with the Class C-1 state volleyball champion Minden Whippets! The champs joined the show right after their parade celebration in downtown Minden, as we discussed the magical season that ended with a state championship. We also previewed our four area semifinal football games, and we spoke with Wilcox-Hildreth head coach Luke Glenn about the Falcons' rematch with Sumner-Eddyville-Miller. Former Minden Whippet and current editor of the Tribune Andy Raun was our guest picker and gave us some insight on being Proud To Be a Whippet.
Our next show will be Wednesday Nov. 15.
