We're all Pavlov's Dog

If you don't reward yourself and are just waiting for someone else to reward you, you could be waiting a long, long time and end up discouraged that nobody is noticing how awesome you're doing.
It doesn't have to be anything fancy or expensive, but take the time to reward yourself for the awesome progress you're making.  It builds your confidence, your self-esteem, and it gets you hooked.
Once you're hooked, you're gonna want more.... and how do you get more?
