Episode 3 - Multimedia art, Ballroom and Afro-futurism

In the third episode, we talked with multimedia performance artist mandhla. (Mandhla Ndubiwa) about the politics of identities. We learned about the meaning of ballroom culture and community, its role in Mandhla’s existence as a black trans body, serving as a way to explore and expand queerness. We also discussed pop music and the legacies of afro-futurism.
