Molly Mae's recent interview with Steven Bartlettes' on his podcast is an example of white privilege privileging. Her comments were immature and rooted in the privilege of her whiteness and never having to struggle. To throw in Beyonce in my opinion was her attempt to shame people who she deems as not working hard enough to gain success or be in her position.

In this episode I also provide an alternative approach to her interview, we are tired of white people and non-Black people using the outrage and distress of Black Women as a marketing tool. Since recording this episode Molly Mae has issued a statement on her social media, in my view, this is disingenuous given she mentioned on the podcast that she has previously faced negative reactions in response to her opinion. Yet she continued to push a narrative that was both offensive and out of touch with real life.
