10 Station Restroom Trailer Size Spotlight

(Host Eric Dye): Grant, who’s reaching for this trailer? Can you share the kinds of situations it’s built for and how you figure out if it’s got enough capacity for, say, a big event or a work crew?”

(Guest Grant Stahla):  Yeah, you bet. Excited to talk about the 10 station restroom trailer? It’s one of the biggest, baddest restroom trailers that’s out there, so it’s definitely a trailer that you bring in when you have the most capacity or need the most capacity and have have a good amount of people at your event or at your job site and a lot of times it’s when you have multiple thousands of people, you’re gonna be bringing in a whole line of 10 station restroom trailers. So it’s one of those trailers that you bring in when you have not just hundreds of people, but thousands of people… so excited to talk about it.

(Host Eric Dye): What’s a memorable story of this trailer in action? Maybe a festival, a tough job site, or something unexpected?

(Guest Grant Stahla):  You bet. The 10 station restroom trailers, I think of disaster relief. When there’s hurricanes or floods when you need to be able to support a lot of people at one time, we send 10 station restroom trailers. On a previous episode, we were talking about the 8 stations that are about 20 feet long. These ten stations are 25 feet long, so they have a 25% bigger waste tank and I’ll get to that here in a second. But there’s 10 stalls and there’s the men’s side and women’s side of this trailer. So when you have a hurricane, you’re gonna be setting up a man camp and need to be able to support maybe the National Guard or Samaritan’s Purse, and they’re gonna have all sorts of mobile facilities there. Laundry trailers and shower trailers, mobile kitchens. And then for the restrooms, you’re gonna want the biggest trailer available. So this 10 station really shines in that environment and that’s one of the main things that I think of when I think of the 10 station trailer. Also, the ideal use case for this trailer really, it’s gonna spread the gamut with events, job sites, emergency response, disaster relief. But for all those situations for an event, you’re gonna want that 10 station. It can support one stall per 75 guests, so you’re looking at about 750 guests that it can support based on a four hour event with no alcohol. So you really have a good amount of people, if you end up having a couple thousand people, you might need three of these trailers or one of these for your VIP area and then supplement the rest of them with plastic porta potties with long term jobs, you’re looking at one stall per 15 workers. So you bring one of these trailers in. Maybe you have an office facility with 150 workers, then you’d be able to bring in 1 ten station restroom trailer and support your entire office space while potentially there’s a bathroom remodel or there’s a water main line that went down, but you have to have your people there or else your your business shuts down. You really need that 10 station restroom trailer.
