Salah Bachir’s memoir First To Leave The Party; My Life with Ordinary People Who Happen to be Famous chronicles his life through stories of his interactions with some of Hollywood’s most iconic names such as Marlon Brando, Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor, Muhammad Ali, Princess Margaret, Mary Tyler Moore, Sean Connery, Ella Fitzgerald and Doris Day just to name a few. The book, which was co-written with former New York Post and Daily News film critic Jami Bernard, is the first to feature pronouns on the cover. It is available now and has quickly become a Top New Release on Amazon. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the LGBTQ+ rights program at Human Rights Watch.
