Today on Too Opinionated we visit with actor/writer Jim Piddock! 

Actor-writer Jim Piddock, known (among many other things) as Fred Willard’s “straight man” sidekick in the instant classic Best in Show, lifts the curtain in his forthcoming memoir, Caught with My Pants Down and other Tales from a Life in Hollywood, to reveal a rare behind-the-scenes look into the Hollywood most people never see. Part memoir, part tell-all, the book is receiving high praise from a wide range of industry insiders. 

Readers of Caught with My Pants Down and other Tales from a Life in Hollywood will encounter a wide range of stories, including Jim's interactions with the shark-infested waters of Hollywood agents and executives; arriving in the US with $100 to his name; his meteoric rise from performing a one man show in San Francisco with 4 people in the audience to starring in a long-running Broadway show just a few months later; filming all his and Fred Willard’s Best in Show scenes in a single day; being badly dissed by Larry David; exacting revenge on a famous playwright; breaking into the BBC offices in London; helping save Crystal Palace Football club (now a top British Premier League soccer team) from bankruptcy; creating the idea for the Tooth Fairy movie with his 11 year old daughter; being inducted into a motorcycle gang as part of a documentary tv show he presented; and having a kidney stone attack on stage.
