Brennan’s “The Boy From Dublin” follows Finn O’Byrne’s story of resilience, family and eternal optimism.  Following his immigration to working-class London in the mid-1950s, Finn spent his life running from his past.   An Irishman navigating working class London, determined to reclaim everything that has been stolen from him—no matter the cost.  “The Boy From Dublin” delivers a passionate story made even more complicated by his love for Margaret Baumann, a girl he knew was entirely out of his reach.   Fighting against the class imbalance between them and a haunting family history, Finn finds himself sinking deeper into London’s underbelly. He quickly becomes a front runner for East London’s most notorious gangsters. Working hard to keep his growing relationship with Margaret separate from his criminal ties, the lines between the two worlds begin to blur.  Finn fights for a place to belong. “The Boy From Dublin” is a story of poverty, corruption, love, and grief.  Finn must decide where home truly lies, in the arms of the girl he loves, or in the shadow of a past that refuses to let him go.
