Episode 13: Southland Tales

From the director of Donnie Darko, a film no one wanted to see because 9/11 happened, comes Richard Kelly’s sophomore feature, Southland Tales. A film no one wanted to see because 9/11 made the script too confusing! Dwayne Johnson stars as Boxer Santaros, an amnesiac actor who becomes embroiled in an apocalyptic conspiracy along with Krysta Now, a psychic ex-adult film star, and Roland Taverner, also a coincidentally amnesiac World War 3 veteran. The film features an all-star ensemble cast who have absolutely no idea what’s going on around them. This can be remedied, though, by reading the prequel series comic, which is required if you want to know literally anything going on.

So if you like sci-fi comedy action dystopia epics, and you love homework, this is the film for you! This is The TRACcast.
