TLOY TALKS #36: The TurboVCR (aka. Adrian Gariba) Podcast

On the thirty-sixth episode of the TLOY TALKS podcast, Georgetown, Guyana-born, Scarborough, ON/New York City-raised and Taipei-residing/based fashion designer, producer, engineer, and creative of all trades, TurboVCR (born Adrian Gariba) came by to the TLOY TALKS podcast for the first time to speak more about his upbringing, getting into producing, engineering, and fashion design, what he wanted to do initially when he grew up, his first introduction to music, producing, and engineering and how he got into it, going to Trebas Institute & Institute of Audio Research for producing and engineering, being mentored by OVO engineer Noel "Gadget" Campbell, what inspired him to become a multi-disciplinary artist and take it seriously.

TurboVCR also talked about his inspirations and who he would like to work with someday, his creative process when making music and what a day in the studio is like for him, his fashion brands and George Floyd wearing some of his clothing before his death, his music and creating animated CGI music videos for his music through the Auryn 64 Music channel, working with the likes of Armin Van Buren, Markus Schulz & Gareth Emery, as well as local artists like M3GA, Offbeat Smitty, & Pre$i, living and working in New York City & Taipei, his gear and stage name, his growth as an artist, his thoughts on rapper-type beats and the Toronto/GTA music scene & much more.
