In this week's minisode, I'm talking about how important it is to be mindful of what we're consuming. And I'm not talking about food here...;)
Many of us aren't particularly intentional or mindful about what we consume on a daily basis, and as such we don't realise the negative impact that certain content may be having on our mindsets.
The plethora of information coming at us in the form of news, social media, TV, newspapers, and even the people we spend time with, can actually have more of a detrimental effect on our state of mind - and therefore our lives - than we perhaps recognise.
With this in mind, is it time to take stock of the kind of content that we expose ourselves to every day, and perhaps substitute a portion of it for something more uplifting and inspirational? After all, the better we feel, the better we show up in the world; and that can only be a good thing for both us and those we love.
