Wait! Don't hit snooze! Heather's making Maple Roasted Pumpkin Spice Granola and Smoothie Buddha Bowls featuring Chia Pudding. It just might be Three Kitchen's new favourite breakfast.
Chia seeds are highly nutritious. They’re packed with fibre, protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and various micronutrients and antioxidants. And when soaked for a few hours in your favourite milk, they make a great pudding base that you can flavour any way you like. For this episode we've got a plain vanilla and a chocolate peanut butter pudding. Add this to a bowl with your fruit smoothie of choice and you've got a nutritious - and beautiful - breakfast bowl!
To improve this breakfast even more, we're topping our bowls with homemade granola. So simple, and yet such a huge improvement over the store-bought cereal!
