On this weeks episode of TXC Show, Episode 24 – Fantastic Planet, we have our hosts Cameron Barke and Steve van Diest, talking about a couple interesting movies they recently watched.

The late 1990’s and early 2000’s brought us some interesting / timeless and cutting edge films. The Matrix, Fight Club, Gladiator, just to name a few…

During that time, an obscure film slipped through the cracks – in comes Tarsem Singh’s “The Cell.”

The cinematography of the movie is absolutely stunning. Paired with extremely powerful visuals, and a completely compelling back story, The Cell is a must watch if you are into the pyschological thriller genre.

The Cell incorporates many aspects of famous artworks and ideas, one of those being a 1973 French film named “Fantastic Planet.”
