The Japan Federation announced that Wakaba Higuchi is planning to sit out the remainder of the 2022-2023 season.

U.S. Figure Skating and NBC Sports announced the schedule for the 2022-23 figure skating season.

USA Today’s Christine Brennan posted that figure skater Bridget Namiotka, who came forward as victim of sexual abuse by John Coughlin died at the end of July. She was 32.
