Pre-IPO news for the week of Nov 4, 2022.
Pre-IPO stocks were down 1.65% for the week, per the AG Dillon SIM Index, outperforming S&P 500 at -3.25% and S&P 500 Growth at -5.67%.
- Brex was down just under 13%, Databricks down 7%. Carta and Chime were both down 4% too. Stripe was up nearly 5%, Revolut was up 3.7%, and Flexport and Discord both up around 1.5%.
- Pre-IPO stock were down 2.02% for the month of Oct vs the S&P 500 up 8.1% and S&P 500 Growth up 4.4%.

- Binance enters into letter of intent to buy FTX.
- Databricks and Canva make the first CNBC Top 25 Startups for the Enterprise list.
- Stipe lays off 14% of staff.
Capital raise highlights for the week;
- Project44, a logistics tech company, posted a $2.7b valuation.
- Einride, an electric autonomous truck company, closes GE as customer.
- Aventon, an e-bike company, books a 195% valuation increase.
