The below odd collection of words is not to be taken as a sentence, even though it is in the form of a sentence. Actually, it is a memory aid.

"500 women died following the body"

It is in a catchy form for memory, so that when you want to tell someone why the Scriptural account of the Ressurection is believable, you can go over these five points. (I got this from Robby Lashua at Camp-of-the-Woods last week.)

From it, we can give a short recount of five aspects of the Resurrection story, which together form a compelling support to the Gospel account we have today.

For example the first one is 500, referring to His appearance to a crowd of 500 people between the Ressurection and the Ascencion. Many or all of them would have seen Jesus during His ministry, and then they saw Him afterward; He probably spoke to them, they could see the marks of the nails, they could verify that this is the Jesus they knew before the Crucifiction, and these people were then around to read what the Gospel writers wrote! No made up account could possibly have gained acceptance if it differed from what these people were witness to. Some at least were around for several decades into the Christian era, and were able to say, "Yes, I was there! I saw these things! The Gospel accounts are true!"

This is a potent verification of the accounts we have today. The Ressurection is true fact.

Listen to the podcast for the other 4 points, and then Go and Tell!.

This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ!

We bring hope and encouragement, and only because He is real, and He loves you! He died not because we were sinners (although that is true!), but because we were lost daughters and sons! You have value in His eyes! What He wants from us is that we come alone to Him, for fellowship with Him, in submission, so that He can re-make us into the person He created us to be! What a journey! What a life! This isn't a self-help method, it isn't a prosperity gospel, it is Christ in you, the hope of Glory! What a ride! What liberation! Hallelujah!
