September 16, 2022 - The Hurricane That Hit Central Florida

The Okeechobee Hurricane still stands today after all this time as one of the deadliest hurricanes in the history of the Atlantic basin. Most of the damage from that storm was where the population had centered; in Dade and Broward counties, claiming the lives of 2500...but in it’s entirety, but killed over 4,000 people from its path though the Caribbean.
