September 1, 2022 - Dorian Devastates The Bahamas

It is considered to be the worst natural disaster in that country's history. It was most assuredly the most intense tropical cyclone on record to strike the Bahamas. As a newly christened F5 category storm, Dorian struck first made landfall in the Bahamas in Elbow Cay, just east of Abaco Island, on September 1 of 2019, this day in weather history.
