On July 9, 2009 at 8:20pm, this cell spawned an F2 tornado striking Fisherman's Cove resort on Lac Seul, a small lake near the remote fishing town of Ear Falls Ontario. It was the deadliest tornado to hit the province since 1985 when it hit this day in weather history.
