January 12 - The Tragic Haiti Earthquake of 2010

An estimated three million people were affected by the quake, that equates to 20% of the nation's 10.4 million population at that time. One of the most horrifying facts from this January 12th earthquake story out of Haiti is that by January 24th, almost 2 weeks after the initial quake, there had been at least 52 aftershocks measuring 4.5 or greater!!
