The Gospel of Luke

In this Thinking Out Loud episode, Pastor Walt introduces us to Luke. The Apostle Luke wrote the Gospel According to Luke, as well as the Book of Acts. He was a Gentile and a physician who writes an historical account of periods of time and historical figures in those periods of time. Luke writes of the origins, birth, ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. His methodical approach to his writings provides us with reports far more about Jesus’ life than all the other Gospel writers combined.
