Hello and welcome to episode 45 of They Think Kits All Over. This week we have not one but two feature interviews to share with you. First up we spoke to Joey D'Urso from The Athletic about his incredible new podcast Away From Home. Joey gained exclusive access to Shakhtar Donetsk in a year that saw them go toe to toe with Europe's elite in the Champions League all amidst a backdrop of war, as Russia's invasion of Ukraine forced them from their home. We speak to Joey and hear from Shakhtar and Croatia legend Darijo Srna too about Shakhtar's miraculous exploits in the face of overwhelming adversity.
We were also very lucky to speak to Joe Bryant, a young lad freshly back from a trip to Union Berlin where he presented the club with a gigantic Lego build of their stadium. Joe spoke to us about his ambition to build the whole of the Bundesliga and how his endeavours have led to him collecting some special shirts along the way. We also dissect all the weekly shirt news and take a look ahead to next week's World Cup opener, whilst England's shirt for the tournament is nominated to be binned in Kitroom 101....
