In today's episode, we discuss what's happening when we're feeling unsafe in this world. There's so much going on in the world that could be considered frightening or heading toward disaster.
Shit happens and perhaps we get afraid or feel unsafe and if we don't pause and deal with the glitch in our matrix of love it starts to color our point of viewing, and the mind kicks into survival mode.
Living consciously, mindfully, is a way of seeing from a premise of wellbeing. It is a lifestyle choice to trust life, to choose to flow with life, from ease, trust, love, and joy.
The key to trust is first set the premise with which we want to see life. What's the downside of trusting? After all, aren't you alive right now? Has there ever been a moment we haven't dealt? Somehow? Life has always taken care of us. 100% of the time life is supporting us.
It's not that we don't get afraid, but what if we look at that immediate sensation as a signal to pause and question what the mind is telling us it means. It's always spinning a story about something that not happening.
What's happening is an immediate sensation that is interfering with our flowing with life.
But if we pause, notice that fear has caused tension sensation inside, interfering with us flowing with life and soften and let go of the tension, we can see that life might be inviting us to make a different choice and change direction or just the way we're looking at what's happening.
But if we don't, the fear story will take up residence within and color the way we see the world as unsafe, as well as our capacity to operate in it. But it's just a story based in fearful beliefs we've adopted from the past. It's not actually happening.
As we deal directly with releasing the tension, it changes the way we feel about what's happening. We can remember we want to trust, to love - to feel good about our lives and give those yummy feelings a chance to surface as we release our resistance.
The present moment always has whatever we need to deal with what life brings our way. How do we know? We're here, now. still breathing. There hasn't actually been a moment we didn't deal. Or we wouldn't still be here - living.
We can establish the habit of pausing and noticing when we fear enters our energy field and call upon our true nature which is peace, which is life-giving, ease, and joy.
