Hey Guys - Ever think you're simply bored with your life as it is. Have you felt an increase in feelings of boredom over this quarantined time frame? Has that increased your stress that you're somehow supposed to find something productive to do with your time? Or have you simply noticed how much you've let necessary or mindless activity determine how you spend your time?
In today's episode, we explore the idea that boredom is, like so many other seemingly unpleasant moods, simply a resistance or disagreement with the moment that's happening now. What if that feeling we label boredom is simply an invitation from life to tune into our own sense of being - to be mindful, to be fully present here and now - to breathe deeply into the aliveness within and all around us. To ignite our innate curiosity about this magical thing we call life.
We're inviting us all, this week, to pay attention to how we try to distract ourselves from what's happening in a current moment and turn within first - then see what sparks joyful interest.
Perhaps this week could be one of wonder and awe and fascination in the subtle energies of which we have the privilege, by no fault of our own, to be full-on partners with life in.
If we notice a sense of dullness or boredom, can we see it as a little zen-bell inviting us to take a deep breath and return home to our own presence and let that yummy energy enliven our thoughts and ideas - then move from this yummy connection into the next thing that inspires or feels fun to us?
Have a yummy week.
