In today's episode, we explore the value of leisure time in this achievement-based, fast-paced, doing- oriented world we live in. How well do we chill with full permission, totally relaxed and loving doing nothing or whatever is showing up in our lives right here and now? Is our leisure time laced with guilt? Or is there a way to truly relax and enjoy the moment as it is whether we're doing something or not?
What's with the belief that we need to be busy? That it's somehow better than taking life in, in a relaxed, slow pace - smelling the roses as we go along? What if we slow our roll enough to see the beliefs that drive this busy, stressful state and question their validity?
The yummy way is a leisurely way of being present to what's happening and trusting that life as it is showing up right now is gifting us the perfect set of circumstances for our greatest enjoyment.
We're inviting you to look at the 'should' factor in your psyche and how it robs you of present-moment happiness, ease, and aliveness, here and now. After all, we can't really find a location for should - so why let it boss us around? Can you let go of the should belief?
The invitation is to ease back into the pulse of life now and see how it's gifting us sights and sounds and ideas and enjoyment, which is ours for the simple price of our attention and acceptance of what is... here and now.
So take a breath and chill - it's all right.
