The cancan continues at Canada's oldest casino

Dawson City, Yukon, is home to Diamond Tooth Gerties gambling hall—Canada's oldest casino. The venue is a throwback to the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898 and dance hall era.  Tara Borin, a poet, writer, and Dawsonite, tells us how the gambling hall got started and how, 50 years later, it keeps pace with its small, northern home.
