Indifference and the Fracturing of the American Identity

Let me tell you something that absolutely floored me. Iheard a woman say that when she sees an American flag, she gets uncomfortable.

That it feels evil. Evil—while she’s living in the country that gives her the right to say that out loud, in public, with zero fear of imprisonment or retribution. That’s not oppression. That’s indifference masked as activism. And I just don’t understand it.
