Helen Gould was a middle distance standout at West Des Moines Valley High School. She currently races for the University of South Dakota. Helen placed 2nd twice and 3rd once in the Iowa HS State Track and Field Championships in the 1500. She talks about why that race is so special to her and how she has had success at that distance.
