E2: The Best Things In Life Are Free

As Christmas is upon us, so is the 30th birthday of one our hosts! Following the birthday shenanigans, Dylan and Roger ventured to the theater this past week to catch the release of one of the year's most anticipated films, The Whale, and oh boy! Not far removed from an emotional journey filled with lots of surprises and sniffles, Dylan and Roger grade Darren Aronofsky's latest film starring Brendan Fraser who does not have an "i" in his last name. Just before recording this episode the guys also finished the second season of The White Lotus and give their unbiased grade on the season and series as a whole. This episode does hint at some subtle spoilers about the latest season of the hit Emmy-winning HBO series, but it's nothing you don't already know; Aubrey Plaza is an incredibly beautiful human and Jennifer Coolidge is unmatched when it comes to playing the most clueless character on screen. To pay homage to how much the guys enjoyed this most recent season of The White Lotus, the name of this episode was inspired by the credits song in the final episode, and honesty (a huge theme in both The White Lotus and The Whale).
