This is part of a new series I am starting, designed to try and take a practical look at some of the more common topics of discussion that have come into my life. In no way do I intend to offend, but instead I am simply choosing to share my thoughts and experience. I am more than happy to engage in any further conversation about each topic and I am more than happy to have you join me for the discussion.
I would encourage you to listen to the whole podcast before feeling the need to disagree, sometimes I clarify my ideas further. However, if you do disagree, that is okay, and I am more than willing to engage with you further. Feel free to reach out to me personally at [email protected].
This weeks topic is "Church Kids". My 15 year of experience in Student Ministry has brought me into contact with some incredible students. I am simply sharing some of my experience that I have learned along the way and trends I have noticed. In this case, I often see students who treat Church with the same importance/focus that their parents do. How they serve in the local church, how they attend, how they pray, how they serve others, how they prioritize Church and their personal relationship with God, all come from how they see it modeled for them in the Home.
As parents, they look towards us to show them what matters. Their personal relationship with God and how they plug into the local Church is no exception.
