My new class, The Queen's Gambit and a solid week of practice in the new arena have all conspired to open my eyes. It's late November, the days are short and dreary and we're in the midst of a worldwide pandemic and the worst spike in Covid cases in Canada since April, but the world keeps slapping me in the face and saying "it's not all bad". I'm just not sure I trust the world!
