RESOURCE - Definition:
1. A stock or supply of money, materials, staff and other assets that can be drawn on by a person or organization in order to function effectively.
2. An action or strategy which may be adopted in adverse circumstances. Ones ability, attributes and capabilities to help sustain one in adverse circumstances, or difficulties.
Scripture:
John 14:26: But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. (The Holy Spirit as a resource for man)
Genesis 1:26: Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (man as a resource for the planet)
What is required to be a good resource? A good resource is accessible, sustainable, renewable, efficient, reliable, readily available, and appealing.
These are all the characteristics of our all powerful, all knowing, everywhere at one time loving God.
