Definition:
1. To slowly fall apart and become destroyed by natural processes.2. Decay implies a change from a state of soundness or perfection to an inferior state of rotting, corruption, or dilapidation
Scripture:2 Corinthians 4:16 - “Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.”
1 John 2:15-17 - “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. …For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.
