Speaking with two founders, we learn how different opportunities have put them on the entrepreneurship path and set them up to access VC funding.

However, having seen numerous such opportunities come and go for diverse founders, we also examine how these 'opportunities' can have the greatest impact.

This series is about closing the gender gap in private investment in Australia, where in 2024, 98% of private investment went to startup teams with at least one male founder, and just 15% to teams with at least one female founder. 

Over six parts, we’re exploring the massive gender gap in startup investment, including what we’re missing out on while it persists – but, more importantly, what real solutions can be used to help close it.
